What is HTML?

What is HTML?
HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language. It is the main markup language for web pages or, HTML is the ‘hidden‘ code that helps us communicate with others on the World Wide Web (www). It provides tools to create structured documents by symbolizing structural semantics for text such as headings, paragraphs and lists as well as for links and quotes. It allows images and objects to be fixed and can be used to create interactive forms.
It is written in the form of HTML elements consisting of ‘tags ‘ which are surrounded by angle brackets in the web page content. It can include or load scripts in languages such as ‘Java Script ‘which affects the behavior of HTML processors like Web browsers ; and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to define the appearance and layout of text and other materials.
Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML) is the training method used to create and set-up a web document.
